The PureT B890-BK34 housing accepts any standard 20" x 2.5" replacement cartridge, including sediment, carbon block, pleated polyester, and specialty media filters. Designed for whole-home filtration systems, commercial water treatment installations, food service applications, and light industrial process water. The 3/4" NPT threaded connections integrate with standard residential and commercial plumbing without adapters. Chemical-resistant construction makes this housing suitable for chlorinated municipal water, well water treatment, and pre-filtration ahead of reverse osmosis or UV systems. Not equipped with a pressure release button, so line pressure must be relieved manually before cartridge replacement.

💧 Pro Tip: Always shut off water supply and relieve system pressure before unscrewing the housing sump. Without a built-in pressure release valve on the B890-BK34, opening the housing under pressure can cause cartridge blowout and flooding.
