Installing the MAXCL-FF20 Carbon Block
- Verify your filter housing is designed for 20" x 4-5/8" cartridges and is rated for the system flow rate
- Remove the old cartridge, clean the housing sump with a mild bleach solution, and rinse thoroughly before installing the new filter
- Insert the Watts MAXCL-FF20 into the housing, ensuring it seats properly on the center post, then hand-tighten the sump
- Flush the filter for 5 minutes to remove carbon fines and allow the media to fully saturate before use
