The Pentek 3G housing brings significant improvements over older designs: buttress threads for easier cartridge removal, uniform wall thickness for better structural integrity, and optional integrated brackets that eliminate the need for separate mounting hardware. The clear styrene acrylonitrile sump lets you inspect cartridge condition without disassembly, while the blue reinforced polypropylene cap handles up to 125 psi.

This housing accepts any standard 10-inch double open end (DOE) cartridge with a 2.5-inch outer diameter. Suitable for sediment, carbon block, pleated polyester, depth, and specialty cartridges from Pentek and other manufacturers. The polypropylene and SAN construction provide excellent chemical compatibility for municipal water, well water, and light industrial applications. Integrated bracket simplifies under-sink, utility room, or wall-mount installations. Best suited for residential and light commercial applications up to 5 GPM where visual cartridge inspection is beneficial.
