PureT (B891-BK34-PR) 10" w- PR Commercial Heavy Duty Filter Housing 3-4"NPT Black-Blue
PureT B891-BK34-PR 10" Heavy Duty Housing with Pressure Release
NSF-certified polypropylene housing with thickened walls and 3/4" NPT threading for demanding residential, commercial, and industrial filtration applications
Built for durability in high-demand environments
Reinforced Construction
Thicker polypropylene walls provide increased durability and resistance to stress cracking under continuous operation up to 100 PSI
Pressure Release Valve
Integrated PR button safely depressurizes housing before cartridge changes, preventing water spray and housing damage during maintenance
3/4" NPT Threading
Commercial-grade NPT fittings handle higher flow rates than standard 1/4" connections, suitable for whole-house or point-of-entry installations
Chemical Compatibility
FDA-grade polypropylene resists degradation from chlorine, acids, and common water treatment chemicals across a temperature range of 40–100°F
Four Mounting Bosses
Molded mounting points in the end cap allow secure bracket installation in vertical or horizontal orientations without modifications
Standard 10" cartridge platform
The PureT B891-BK34-PR accepts all standard 10-inch filter cartridges with diameters between 2.5" and 2.875", including sediment, carbon block, pleated polyester, and specialty media cartridges. Compatible with post-RO polishing filters, under-sink systems, and inline filtration for commercial equipment. Black housing with blue cap. Model number B891-BK34-PR uses 3/4" NPT inlet and outlet ports.
Cartridge replacement schedule
Sediment Cartridges
Replace 5–20 micron sediment filters quarterly in high-sediment water or every six months in municipal applications
Carbon Block Cartridges
Replace activated carbon cartridges every six months for chlorine taste and odor removal, or annually for polishing applications
Pressure Release Valve
Before every cartridge change, press the red PR button to safely release internal pressure and prevent housing stress
Housing Inspection
Check o-ring seal and housing threads annually for wear, cracks, or mineral buildup. Replace o-ring if compressed or damaged
NSF Certified
FDA-grade materials meet NSF standards for potable water contact
Universal Fit
Accepts all 10" x 2.5" standard diameter filter cartridges
Easy Service
Pressure release button and hand-tighten design simplify cartridge changes
Commercial Duty
100 PSI rating and reinforced walls handle continuous high-flow operation
