Where This Filter Works
This calcite neutralizer cartridge fits standard 10-inch filter housings with 2.5-inch diameter capacity and is compatible with the Watts Intelifil IF-SM-CC010. Use it as a post-filter for reverse osmosis systems to restore beneficial minerals and raise pH, or install in whole-house applications where well water or municipal supply tests acidic. The slow-reacting calcite media self-limits pH correction to prevent over-conditioning. As calcium carbonate dissolves into the water, hardness will increase—if your water already has moderate hardness or you're treating large volumes, plan for a water softener downstream of this neutralizing filter. Ideal for RO remineralization, acidic well water correction, and any application requiring controlled pH adjustment from 6.5 up to neutral range.
