The WS-10 is designed for point-of-use water softening applications where space is limited or whole-house softening isn't practical. It's ideal for protecting single appliances like tankless water heaters, coffee machines, ice makers, steam ovens, or humidifiers from scale buildup. Install in any standard 10-inch filter housing rated for the appropriate pressure and flow. This cartridge works best in low-flow applications with moderate hardness levels. For homes with very hard water or high-volume demands, consider a traditional tank-style softener. The WS-10 is not rechargeable and must be replaced once capacity is exhausted.

💧 Pro tip: Track your water hardness in grains per gallon and estimate cartridge life before installation. At 10 GPG hardness and 0.5 GPM usage, the WS-10 will treat approximately 75 gallons before needing replacement. Pair with a sediment pre-filter to protect the resin bed from particulates.
